Iran showcases new ‘missile city’ in terrifying threat to the west – World War 3 fears
Tehran has revealed the deadly arsenal as a chilling challenge to the West. The Islamic Republic’s Revolutionary Guard commander Hossein Salami visited the new missile base. General Salami succeeded General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a US drone strike last January.
He said that the cruise and ballistic missiles would boost the strength of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval forces.
He said it revealed only a “small section of the great and expansive missile capability” possessed by Iran.
Footage from the state’s broadcaster revealed a multitude of rows of missiles stashed at the facility.
The leader of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval unit said the site was equipped to detect enemy signals.
