One Direction: Harry Styles may have written a song about Olivia Wilde in 2015 | Music | Entertainment

The song features the Harry singing the lyrics: “I live for you, I long for you, Olivia. I’ve been idolising the light in your eyes, Olivia. I live for you, I long for you, Olivia.”

While Wilde has certainly been a prominent figure in Hollywood for a long time, there is no real reason to believe the song is about her specifically – but fans think otherwise.

The song was written by Styles, and in an interview in 2015, he vaguely touched upon the meaning of the song, stating: “It’s one of my favourites because it’s so different and feels like so much old stuff I love.

“The greatest thing about music is you can put labels on things and it seems like there is no grey area but it doesn’t have to be so literal. Olivia could be a place or a family member.”
