Roblox DOWN: servers reported offline for gamers “service not available” | Gaming | Entertainment

Roblox servers are reportedly down tonight with thousands of reports coming in off issues playing multiplayer games.

Gamers are seeing an error message when logging in tonight that confirms “The service is unavailable”.

There has been no ETA on when Roblox servers will be back online, and what caused the outage in the first place.

One message from a Roblox fan adds: “At first I thought it was just Microsoft Edge, but it’s happening to Firefox too. Edit: It just got fixed. Another Edit: NEVER FREAKING MIND. Ok last edit: It works now. Edit: Ok, I quit.”

“Last time Roblox did a big update you could not play unless you were in a game, and if you left, you could not go back in. The same thing is happening here, it could be a new update.”

As highlighted above, Roblox servers have been coming back online, only to go offline again after a few minutes.

It’s unclear how long Roblox might be down for, but gamers will be hoping for an update in the coming hour.

    MFL…

Back in May, Business Insider reported that the Roblox property is worth up to $2.5billion – a staggering number.

This was during a time when false rumours were being posted regarding Roblox servers shutting down.

The official Roblox Twitter account addressed the shutdown claims earlier this year, telling gamers:

“Let’s set things straight: Roblox isn’t “shutting down.” The same hoax (with a few details changed) goes around every year or two.

“Remember: don’t believe everything y’all read on the internet!”
